This small wooden box is made from solid walnut. It is perfect for storing and protecting smaller items such as jewelry, decks of cards, or small keepsakes.  The recess on the inside is about 1/2" deep and measures a bit shy of 5 1/2" by 3". The recess on the inside of the lid is the same. The outer dimensions of the box are approximately 6 1/2" by 4" by 1 1/2" high. It has two small brass hinges and a pair of small magnets to hold the box closed.

Please note that the box in the pictures may not be the exact box that I send you as I have made multiples of this box. The wonders of nature will produce different patterns in the grain as well as slight variations in color.
