This cute little keepsake box is handmade with solid maple sides that have been reinforced with solid maple keys for extra strength and durability. The top of the box has been veneered with bubinga, while the inside and bottom show maple. The knob is made from solid brass as is the hinge. The hinge has a positive stop at about 95 degrees to hold the lid open without letting it flop completely backwards or slam shut on your fingers.
