This cutting/ serving board is made from strips of several species of wood. Most of the wood is reclaimed cut offs from other woodworking projects. After all, why not make something beautiful instead of just putting it in the landfill or burn pile.

This particular board is 14" x 11" x a bit over 1/2" thick and has oak, maple, cherry, quarter sawn sycamore, and walnut wood in it. It has been sanded smooth and finished with butcher block oil and a top coat of butcher block wax. That is also all you will need to maintain your board. And because I've been asked.... hand wash only. Don't soak it in the sink or stick it in the dishwasher.
